Product Description

Coconut oil is a vegetable fat found in coconut pulp. The modern technique for extracting the oil involves drying the pulp, before cold pressing it to release the oil.

Our coconut oil comes from organic farming. It has a delicate tropical fragrance, and is a liquid above 23°C. At colder temperatures, it becomes solid, taking on a white colouring and a consistency similar to butter.

Coconut oil can be stored just like any other oil in a cool, dry place, away from direct light and heat. If you prefer to use your coconut oil in a solid form, even during the summer, you can store it in the fridge. Just make sure you take the desired amount of oil with a clean and dry spoon. To return coconut oil to a liquid form, simply hold it in your hands for a few seconds or heat the desired quantity in a glass bowl over a bain-marie.

Coconut oil is perfect for cooking with, and can be used, for example:

  • to flavour various coffee drinks,
  • herbal and leaf teas,
  • milkshakes,
  • fruit juices and smoothies,
  • vegetable yogurts and drinks,
  • homemade desserts and biscuits,
  • vegetable dishes or salads,
  • numerous other sweet and savoury dishes.

Coconut oil is a versatile food, but like all natural vegetable oils it can also be used on the body and hair. Coconut oil for hair, as a pre-shampoo or as a gentle conditioner, also for curly hair.

Coconut oil can be used on the skin of the body and face, as a cleanser and moisturizer, it helps keep the skin elastic and helps prevent the formation of stretch marks, it is also capable of removing make-up from even the most stubborn make-up.

  • I ordered coconut oil, and it arrived completely liquid, why?

While coconut oil solidifies below 23°C, above that temperature, it begins to become liquid. This change is absolutely normal, especially for a natural product like NaturaleBio Coconut Oil.

  • Why is its aroma sometimes less intense?

Its aroma varies a lot with the particular state in which it is found. In its liquid state, it is less intense.
